Research Associate at the Foundation for Non-Violent Alternatives (FNVA)

Rinzin Namgyal is a Research Associate at the Foundation for Non-Violent Alternatives (FNVA) and a NASC (2025–26) Fellow at Takshashila Institution. He is pursuing a PhD in Chinese Studies at the University of Delhi, where he completed his Master’s in East Asian Studies specialising in China. His research focuses on Chinese domestic politics, critical infrastructure, security studies, Sino–Pakistan relations, and Tibet–China relations. He has published through FNVA and contributed commentary to StratNews Global, Voice of Tibet, Voice of America and Radio Free Asia, and has participated in several international conferences and seminars on Chinese studies.
