Bhuchung Tsering heads the Research & Monitoring Unit, International Campaign for Tibet, Washington D.C. He was a member of the Task Force set up by the Central Tibetan Administration to work on issues relating to the dialogue process and was also a member of the ream led by the envoys of the Dalai Lama in the discussions with the Chinese leadership between 2002 and 2010. He has testified in Congress on behalf of the International Campaign for Tibet and is the recipient of the 2023 Truman-Reagan Medal of Freedom From the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation.
